Woodmere Attempted Larceny Caught on Video
Man in 40s entered car on Burton Avenue, but took nothing.

The Fourth Squad in Nassau County is investigating an attempted larceny from a vehicle that occurred Oct. 30 at 2:45 a.m. in Woodmere.
According to detectives, a male subject in his 40s was observed on a surveillance video opening the driver’s door of an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a Burton Avenue home and searched through the center console. There was no loss of property reported. Police remind the public to secure their vehicles at all times.
Detectives requested that anyone with information regarding the attempted larceny contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
