45 Clermont Accepting Applications For Affordable Housing

Navy Green R3 LLC, also known as 45 Clermont, is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for 100 affordable housing rental apartments now under construction at 45 Clermont Avenue, in the Fort Greene/Wallabout neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Applicants will be required to meet income guidelines and additional selection criteria to qualify. Applications may be requested by regular mail to: Navy Green R3 LLC c/o PO BOX 52, Triborough Station, New York, NY 10035, or by visiting www.45clermont.com. 

Please be sure to include a self-addressed envelope with your request for an application.Completed applications must be returned by regular mail only to Navy Green R3, PO Box 373002, New York, NY 10037, and must be postmarked by September 6, 2011. Please note the different addresses for requesting and returning applications.

Applications postmarked after Sept. 6, 2011 will be set aside for possible future consideration. Applicants will be selected by lottery. Applicants who submit more than one application will be disqualified. Eligible applicants currently residing in Brooklyn's Community Board 2 will receive preference for 50 percent of the units. In addition, there will be a 5 percent preference for Municipal Employees of the City of New York, 5 percent preference for the mobility impaired and 2 percent preference for the hearing/visually impaired. Limit one application per household.
