Introducing The Brooklyn Nets

Now that the Brooklyn Nets is of the basketball team that will soon call Barclays Center home, here's your chance to announce it to the world.

The Nets organization will hold tryouts for its in-house game announcer at Fort Greene's today from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Residents fluent in "Brooklynese" are encouraged to apply.

“As far as I’m concerned the thicker their accent, the better!” Borough President Marty Markowitz told The New York Post.

Mark Morris Dance Center is located at 3 Lafayette Avenue at the corner of Rockwell Place in Fort Greene.
