There may not be a Christmas tree at Grand Army Plaza this year, but New Year's Eve is ready to rock.
Borough President Marty Markowitz, together with the Prospect Park Alliance, will sponsor a free New Year's Celebration with musical entertainment by Brooklyn’s Rock ‘N’ Soul Experience and plenty of hot chocolate.
Best locations for viewing the midnight fireworks include anywhere in Grand Army Plaza, inside the Park on the West Drive, and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street in the Slope.
