Fort Greene Rape Sends Police Hunting For Suspect 'Todd'
Police released blurry photos, a first name and description of a man suspected of choking out and raping a woman in Fort Greene last month.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — A woman was choked out, raped and robbed in the Ingersoll Houses by a man captured in a blurry photo who goes by the name of "Todd," according to the NYPD.
The woman was attacked inside 88 Monument Walk, near Navy Street, about 3 a.m. on Friday, April 22, police said.
The attacker requested sex then, when refused, locked the woman in a choke hold until she lost consciousness, police said.

The man raped the woman then stole $600 and her cell phone, police said.
The woman, bruised and scratched along her throat, was taken to Interfaith Hospital for treatment, police said.

The NYPD released images, a description and the possible first name of the suspect Saturday, about a week after the attack.
"Todd" is 27-years-old, thin, stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and has brown eyes and dark braided hair, police said.
He was last seen wearing a light green jacket and blue pajama pants, police said.
