BROOKLYN, NY — A woman hurled anti-Asian insults at a senior on a Brooklyn train before biting and scratching him, police said.

At about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, the 65-year-old man was riding a train in Brooklyn — reportedly near the York Street station — when a woman directed anti-Asian insults at him, according to the NYPD.

The woman then bit the man on the back and scratched his arms, police said.

First responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

The NYPD Hate Crime Unit is investigating the attack, police said.

As of Tuesday, the investigation is still underway and no arrests have been made, said police, who sent out a photo of the female assailant.
