Girl Scouts of Nassau County Announces Freeport Resident to Serve on Board of Directors
Allison Bishop White Will Serve as Executive Vice President on Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Board of Directors

Girl Scouts of Nassau County announced that Freeport resident Allison Bishop White has been elected to serve on Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Board of Directors through 2027 as the Executive Vice President. Allison Bishop White was officially sworn in during the organization’s 60th Annual Meeting, held at Nassau Community College in Garden City. The Board of Directors is comprised of lifelong Girl Scouts, community leaders, and nonprofit and corporative executives who provide leadership, innovation and support to the Council and guide the organization’s vision and mission.
“Our Board of Directors is made up of passionate leaders who believe in the power of Girl Scouting to inspire and uplift the next generation,” said Randell Bynum, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “I am eager to see this group of leaders inspire and shape the Girl Scout experience in their terms. I am confident they will help to fulfill our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character.”
Board members work together to provide strategic leadership and foster opportunities that help girls throughout Nassau County develop courage, confidence, and character. They also play a vital role in supporting fundraising efforts that expand access to Girl Scout programs that empower girls socially, academically, and emotionally.

Allison Bishop White, Esq. joined the board in 2016 as a member-at-large and now serves as vice president. A dedicated supporter of Girl Scouts, she is a lawyer specializing in advisory, regulatory, and legal matters in the financial services industry. Allison has held senior roles at LPL Financial, including Senior Vice President and Head of Early Dispute Resolution, and previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the New York Stock Exchange, and NYSE Regulation (now FINRA). She also serves as a Trustee of the Stoneleigh Burnham School, is a member of Northeastern University’s Dean’s Strategic Counsel for the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, serves on the Public Policy Council of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and is a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. Allison is a graduate of Northeastern University and earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University.
