Holiday Collection Drive Supports Freeport Church's Food Pantry
Donated items were delivered to Our Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church.
FREEPORT, NY — Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union (OFFCU) of Oceanside gave back to the community with its annual holiday food drive.
Donations, accepted at the credit union branches, were delivered to food pantry at Our Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church in Freeport.
"We do a food collection every year, this is my fifth since joining Ocean Financial, and it gets better every time. This milestone reflects not only our commitment but the generosity of our members and staff who make it possible year after year," Joe Tedesco, President & CEO of OFFCU.

As part of the drive, OFFCU accepted non-perishable food, household and personal care items.
"Food insecurity remains a pressing issue in New York, as many families continue to struggle to put meals on the table," said Ana Sullivan, Food Pantry Director at Our Holy Redeemer. "We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of donors, particularly during the holiday season, when the need is greatest, and every contribution makes a profound difference."
