Garden City, NY – October 8, 2024 – The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC) is excited to announce its continued partnership with Lorraine Gregory Communications (LGC) for the closing event of Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week. The focus of this year’s event, MED Week 2.0, is to empower minority entrepreneurs by providing direct access to the information, tools, and resources essential for business growth and sustainability.

LIAACC’s mission is to advance and promote economic development, enhance community involvement, and provide vital advocacy for minority-owned businesses. The closing event, hosted at LGC’s Edgewood location, will serve as a key moment in MED Week 2024, bringing together business leaders and entrepreneurs for an evening of networking, education, and inspiration. Attendees will hear directly from successful small and medium-sized businesses that have navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship and paved the way for future growth. Through panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities, the event will offer actionable strategies and resources to help entrepreneurs expand their businesses.
