Minority Enterprise Development Week 1st Day of Activities Oct. 9 2024

Minority Enterprise Development Week Announces 1st Day of Activities during the month of October 2024. Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED WEEK) in New York State is returning to Long Island for its third annual celebration which will be held at the Town of Hempstead Pavilion on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.

This year’s first set MED WEEK activities will held at the Town of Hempstead Pavilion and will be begin at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm.

Additionally, the chamber will be incorporating Founder’s Day within MED WEEK; as the chamber was founded in October of 2010 by its founding Chairman John L. Scott.

MED Week Offers a venue for minority-owned firms to access information, tools, and resources to grow their businesses both domestically and internationally through networking events, workshops, and issue forums. The events that compose MED Week are meant to raise awareness among minority business owners, and the larger business community!

The goal of MED WEEK is to expand the capacity of small business owners and increase the scope and size of these business owners in order to scale them up to larger enterprises.

The ultimate goal for MED Week is to expand MED Week into a MED Month by 2026.
