Bishop Barrington Goldson, Founder and CEO of Academy Charter says, “ Food insecurity is an issue that many of our students are faced with, Sebastian’s efforts in providing nutritious and challenging meals on a daily basis help us insure that our students are not going to class hungry. A hungry student cannot succeed in the classroom. The meals that Sebastian prepares help our teachers to make sure that they can feed and nurture the intellect of our students in the classroom.”
The Academy Charter School is dedicated to: Core Mastery, Character Development, and Community Awareness. Our school will improve student academic achievement by focusing on three important areas of our children’s growth that will enable them to be empowered adults: mastery of academic subjects, an intensive focus on character development, and fostering a lifelong behavior of giving back to their community.
