Stroll in Support: Freeport Dog Walk for Mental Wellness
South Shore Guidance Center's 2024 Annual Spring Fling Dog Walk for Mental Wellness

The South Shore Guidance Center (SSGC), a non-profit organization committed to offering mental health and wellness services, will be holding its annual Spring Fling Dog Walk event on Saturday, May 18th to raise awareness for mental wellness.
In addition to the picturesque walk at Cow Meadow Park, interactive games, face painting, raffles and other fun surprises will be organized to make this a one-of-a-kind experience for the entire family. Proceeds from the event will go toward the facility’s $20,000 fundraising goal.
The South Shore Guidance Center in Freeport is an outpatient behavior health clinic within the EPIC Family of Human Service Agencies. It provides a wide range of care for Long Islanders of all ages, and this program is one of many events scheduled throughout the month of May in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month.
