Cops: 2 Sold Painkillers in Hempstead
Duo also had a loaded handgun in their car, police said.

Two men were charged with selling prescription painkillers in Hempstead Monday night, according to Nassau County Police.
At 10:15 p.m., Reginald Thorton, 22, and Daquan McCall, 21, both of Hempstead, were caught in a drug sale on Ingraham Street, cops said. The pair had sold Oxycodone to a buyer in the area, police said.
Cops took the two into custody and found a loaded handgun in their car, authorities said.

Thorton was charged with four-counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
McCall was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Thorton and McCall will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
