Early Voting In Nassau County Starts Oct. 29

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The midterm elections are nearly here. Election Day this year is Tuesday, Nov. 8, but early voting in New York starts 10 days prior.

There are multiple locations in Nassau County where residents can go for early voting. Early voting locations are open Oct. 29 through Nov. 6.

Early voting hours in Nassau County are:

• Oct. 29: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Oct. 30: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Oct. 31: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Nov. 1: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Nov. 2: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Nov. 3: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Nov. 4: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Nov. 5: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Nov. 6: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Nassau County residents can go to any early voting locations in the county to cast their ballot. Anyone who has been issued an absentee ballot may not vote at a machine in early voting, but may cast an affidavit ballot. Every early voting location is accessible to voters with disabilities.

On Nov. 8, residents must go to their designated polling sites to cast their votes. You can find your polling place here.
