Garden City Bank Robber Threatened To Use Weapon: Nassau Police
Police say the man passed the teller a threatening note, then fled with cash. No one was injured.
GARDEN CITY, NY —A man robbed a Garden City bank Tuesday afternoon, and Nassau County police said he remains on the loose.
The man entered the TD Bank at 855 Franklin Ave. at 1 p.m. He passed the teller a note demanding money and threatened the use of weapon, though he never showed the weapon, police said. The teller complied, and the man fled on foot with the cash.
Eight employees were in the bank during the robbery. No one was hurt.
