After two years of being canceled due to the pandemic, LI's largest boat show is back this weekend in Uniondale.

UNIONDALE, NY — It's almost boating season on Long Island, and in another sign of the pandemic's end, the largest boat show on LI is back this weekend. The Long Island Boat Show is happening at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This year's show features family entertainment. According to the show's website, there is a Birds of Prey wildlife show for kids, free face painting and balloon animals and a classic video game arcade.

"The US Power Squadron will be there with their Boating Skills Virtual Simulator allowing you to cruise around a virtual lake while learning some important lessons including departing the dock, working with spring lines, moorings, docking and training in heavy and strong wind conditions. Free life vest for the first 100 children in attendance."
