Man In Critical Condition After Being Hit By SUV In Nassau
Police say the man was crossing the road when he was hit by the car. Anyone with info is asked to come forward.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in East Garden City Monday night, police said.
According to Nassau County police, a 57-year-old man was crossing Stewart Avenue, near the entrance to the Meadowbrook State Parkway, at 8:03 p.m. when he was hit by an SUV being driven by a 23-year-old man.
The pedestrian suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Police say the driver remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Police have not released the names of anyone involved.
