Man Hit By Car Crossing Nassau Road In Critical Condition
Police say the man suffered severe head trauma after he was hit while crossing a street in Hempstead.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Hempstead Thursday night.
According to police, the man was crossing near 74 N. Franklin Street at 10:05 a.m. when he was struck by a 2014 Dodge driven by a 44-year-old man.
The pedestrian suffered severe head trauma and was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable but critical condition.
