Man Sexually Abused Boy For 3 Years At Nassau Daycare Center: Police
Jose Rodriguez is charged with first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

WESTBURY, NY — A Glen Cove man was taken into custody after allegedly sexually abusing a child for three years, Nassau police said.
Jose Rodriguez, 49, while employed at a daycare center in Westbury, inappropriately touched a 10-year-old boy, police said. The abuse continued until the victim was 13 years old, authorities said.
On August 11, Rodriguez went into a Dunkin' Donuts where the victim is currently employed, police said.

After Rodriguez left the store, the victim notified police.
Rodriguez was located and placed under arrest on August 25 on Glen Cove Avenue without incident, authorities said.

Rodriguez is charged with first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
