Man Menaced High School Student With Gun: Police

ROOSEVELT, NY — Police are investigating a menacing incident that took place on Monday evening in Roosevelt, police said.
A male victim, 17, was approached by an unknown man at Roosevelt High School, where a verbal argument ensued, police said.
The man lifted his shirt, exposing the handle of a black firearm that was tucked into his waistband, police said.

He told the victim to wait for him in the parking lot. The victim, in fear, ran away and police were notified, authorities said.
The man left the scene on foot, last seen walking southbound on Denton Place, police said.
