Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Van In Nassau
Police say the two collided, seriously injuring the motorcycle driver.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — A crash involving a van and a motorcycle in Hempstead Tuesday night left one person dead.
According to police, a 2001 Ford Cargo Van was heading east on Jackson Street when it collided with a motorcycle heading north on Main Street around 8:30 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:57 p.m. The driver of the van was not injured.

Police did not release the name of either driver. The investigation is ongoing.
