Shots Fired At People On Residential Uniondale Street: Nassau Police

Police say three men in a black 2021 Jaguar fired multiple rounds at two people in Uniondale. Bullets struck multiple cars and two homes.

UNIONDALE, NY — Shots were fired at two people Wednesday night on a residential street in Uniondale, authorities said.

It happened around 5:20 p.m. on Northgate Drive, just off Jerusalem Avenue.

At the time, a 24-year-old man was sitting inside a parked 2009 BMW, while a woman, also age 24, was standing outside the driver's side door. That's when Nassau County police say three black men heading north in a black 2021 Jaguar fired multiple rounds.

Bullets struck the BMW, multiple parked vehicles, and two homes, according to police. No injuries were reported.

The suspects reportedly fled northbound on Northgate Drive. It is not immediately clear if the two parties know each other.
