Cops Nab Glen Cove Harbor Patrol Burglar: Police
Glen Cove Harbor Patrol headquarters was burglarized shortly after the Super Bowl ended on Sunday night, police say.
A Glen Cove man was arrested for burglarizing the Glen Cove Harbor Patrol headquarters on Super Bowl Sunday, police say.
According to authorities, Elvin Bowman, 23, of Glen Cove, broke into the headquarters, located on Shore Road, shortly after the Super Bowl ended. Glen Cove Police were able to connect Bowman to the crime through evidence left at the scene and surveillance footage, police say.
Bowman was arrested on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. on Glen Cove Avenue and was charged with third-degree burglary and attempted third-degree burglary.

He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
