Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.     The <a href="https://glencove.patch.com/listings/city-of-glen-cove-police-department">Glen Cove Police Department</a> has declined to provide the names of the arrested. The City of Glen Cove Police Department reported the following arrests from Aug. 25-31. On Aug. 26, a 35 year old male was charged with first degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, and fourth degree criminal mischief on Continental Place. On Aug. 26, a 36 year old male was charged with second degree menacing and second degree harassment on Grove Street.  On Aug. 29, two males, ages 19 and 20, were charged with two counts each of third degree burglary on Dosoris Lane.
