Feast Of St. Rocco Returns To Glen Cove: July 28 - Aug. 1
The "Best Feast In The East" returns with live music and entertainment, carnival rides, games for kids, and lots of Italian food.
GLEN COVE, NY — The Feast of St. Rocco — a five-day celebration of Italian heritage and the patron saint of the sick — returns to Glen Cove this month.
The "Best Feast In The East," as it's dubbed, is hosted by the Church of St. Rocco. It kicks off July 28 and includes carnival rides, live music and entertainment, raffle prizes, and a wide variety of food.
Each year, thousands of people travel to the area to feast on sausage and pepper sandwiches, homemade pasta, meatballs, tripe, and other delicacies. And if you still have an appetite, look for the Italian pastries and homemade ice cream.

After more than a year of coronavirus restrictions, the Church of St. Rocco says the upcoming festivities will be coming "back in full force," though some tweaks will be made.
"You will notice we will space out the booths more to allow more room," the church wrote in a Facebook post, adding that there will also be al fresco dining. "We are all so excited and look forward to enjoying once again our fabulous Long Island BEST FEAST IN THE EAST for the summer of '21!"
