This year marks a special milestone as Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club celebrates 25 years of hosting its beloved Thanksgiving Community Dinner, a cherished neighborhood tradition that brings together families, friends, and neighbors for an evening filled with gratitude, warmth, and connection.
On Tuesday, November 25, the Club will once again open its doors to the public for a buffet-style Thanksgiving feast featuring turkey, traditional sides, and desserts. The meal is made possible by Elegant Affairs, which has graciously supported this event for all 25 years by donating and preparing the delicious holiday favorites that bring the community together.
“We’re delighted to welcome the community and their families to join us for this special Thanksgiving dinner, with Retired Police Sergeant Jack McDougal leading the blessing," said Franca Trunzo, the Club’s Executive Director. “Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club holds a special place in my heart. As neighbors and friends, it’s our pleasure each year to cater this very special event,” added Andrea Correale, President of Elegant Affairs.
