Glen Cove Comes Alive For 2021 Downtown Sounds Concert Series

GLEN COVE, NY — The streets of Glen Cove will come alive with live music and rhythm each week this summer for the 2021 Downtown Sounds Concert Series.

Presented by the city's Downtown Business Improvement District, Downtown Sounds will take place at Glen Cove Village Square Plaza every Friday through Aug. 27. If you can't make it, concerts will be live-streamed on the BID's Facebook page.

"With the sounds of jazz, rhythm and blues, rock, folk, salsa, and other genres filling the air, the public enjoys great music while dancing and dining in our open and inviting downtown area," the Downtown Sounds website read.

All concerts are free and start at 7 p.m. Free parking will be offered in nearby municipal garages.

• July 9 — The John Fogerty Tribute Project
• July 16 — A Decade of Soul
• July 23 — The Doobie Others
• July 30 — Lord's of 52nd Street
• Aug. 6 — Therapi Band
• Aug. 13 — La Sonora 495
• Aug. 20 — Head Over Heels
• Aug. 27 — Nikki Torres and Girls of Summer
