Glen Cove Declares Snow Emergency; Useful Emergency Contacts

Residents are asked to stay off roads and park their cars off the streets.

Mayor Tim Tenke has declared a snow emergency in Glen Cove amid a Nor'easter hitting the region on Tuesday.

Residents are encouraged to refrain from traveling and move their cars off roadways so that the Department of Public Works and emergency vehicles can travel safely.

The City asks that residents do not plow or shovel snow into the roadways.
