Glen Cove Seeks Crossing Guards

The City of Glen Cove is seeking crossing guards who will direct traffic to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

Crossing guards would be required to help pedestrians cross a street, slow down traffic in a school zone and direct traffic at crosswalks. Applicants must be able to be firm yet courteous and get along with school children.

Work is performed independently at a $45 rate per day.

Minimum qualifications include: Graduation from high school, or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, or two years of work experience in a related field, or two years of service in the Armed Forces of the United States.
