The Glen Cove St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is proud to announce John Cronin, co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer of John’s Crazy Socks, as the Grand Marshal for the 2026 Glen Cove St. Patrick’s Day Parade, taking place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 1 PM in downtown Glen Cove.
At just 29 years old, John has built a nationally recognized company that celebrates inclusion and spreads happiness — a mission that perfectly embodies the spirit of the parade. Born with Down syndrome, John’s enthusiasm, joy, and kindness inspire everyone he meets.
Committee Board Member Sheila Zeineth, Grand Marshal John Cronin, Chairperson Lisa Forgione, and Public Relations Chair Roni Jenkins met recently to celebrate the announcement, where John proudly practiced his parade wave.
