"We're so grateful to the board of the GCNA for their generosity in making this award available to Fordham students," said Debra Caruso Marrone, president of the Fordham College Alumni Association (FCAA), and a resident of Glen Cove. "We're sure the funds will help a community-minded student fund their education while also helping others."

Applicants will be judged on volunteer/community service performed, showing both membership in a community/non-profit organization and time spent helping that organization achieve its mission.
