Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Barry is an amazing teacher in the Glen Cove School District. How do you thank someone who has given my child the rest of her life? He has given her the inspiration and the know-how to move onto his alma mater, Five Towns College. She is now in her third year.

He has taught my daughter, and many other kids, all he knows which enables them to advance in the field of television production in which my child has excelled. Thank you to Mr. Barry, we are forever grateful for going above-and-beyond and going the extra mile for these kids.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

He created an environment in which he makes everyone comfortable and feels like family. As my daughter would put it, his class is "a sanctuary."
