Glen Cover to Run 100 Miles for Charity

Glen Cover Eva Casale is going the distance for Leukemia and Lymphoma this Sunday at the Bethpage Ocean to Sound Relay.

The ultrarunner will tackle a "double run," traversing 100 miles in total. She will begin her race on Saturday evening and complete a full 50 miles, before starting over again with the rest of the runners on Sunday morning at 8am.   

Casale has raised more than $50,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  

She will be joining some other remarkable participants including:

-Peter Hawkins, who runs all 50 miles individually in his wheelchair

-Wesley Macker, 21-year old Stony Brook University track star to run 50 miles individually

-Super Sixties, an all women’s super seniors team (60+ years of age)
