Happy Meals And Smiles At Holiday Party, Food Drive In Roslyn
The event was held in conjunction with Long Island Cares, the Rallye Motor Company, and Nosh Delivers!
ROSLYN, NY — There were plenty of smiles at a holiday party last week for vulnerable children when "Santa Claus" showed up on a fire truck with presents and McDonald's Happy Meals last week at Rallye Motor Company's headquarters in Roslyn, according to a news release.
As part of the party, "Santa," played by longtime Rallye employee, Victor Cosme, arrived in the truck with gifts donated by Rallye for each child from their wish list, as well as more from corporate Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, and Acura.
The Happy Meals were donated by McDonalds.

The party was for vulnerable children, including those in the foster care system, from the Roslyn area, according to the news release.
The inspiration for the party came from the late founder of Rallye Motors, Peter Terian, in 1998, the year of his daughter's birth. From there, it became an annual event.

The party followed a food drive, in which Rallye collected food, filling Sprinter vans with non-perishable food items to Nosh Delivers!, which serves more than 500 families in the Glen Cove area, ensuring that local food-insecure families will not go hungry.
In recognition of Rallye’s 65th anniversary, Juliana Terian, Chief Executive Officer of Rallye Motor Company, presented a $6,500 check to Long Island Cares.
This donation is part of Long Island Care’s holiday corporate matching campaign.
