Man Waves Knife In Front Of Glen Cove CVS Friday: Police
The man was yelling and brandishing a knife at the Glen St. store but police were able to take the knife away and avoid injuries.
GLEN COVE, NY — A man yelling and waving a knife around in front of a Glen Cove CVS store on Friday afternoon was succesfully "disarmed" by Glen Cove police, a detective told Patch.
Glen Cove police responded to reports of the man at the Glen Street CVS Pharmacy around 3 p.m. on Friday.
The man, who police say is homeless, was brought to a mental hospital for evaluation, Detective John Nagle said.
