(ICYMI) Woman, 80, Charged In Nassau County Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
Authorities have arrested a woman they say struck and injured a bicyclist before driving off Thursday morning.

JERICHO, NY — An 80-year-old woman has been arrested in a hit-and-run that injured a bicyclist in Jericho, authorities said Friday.
The incident happened around 9:45 a.m. Thursday.

Nassau County police say Lena Saban, of Glen Head, struck a male bicyclist at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Cedar Swamp Road. Saban, who was driving a 2017 Cadillac SUV, continued north on Cedar Swamp Road and left the scene.
The male bicyclist, 68, suffered a head injury and severe bruising, according to police. Lena was arrested without incident a short time later.

Saban has been charged with leaving the scene of an incident involving serious injury, according to police. She is scheduled to appear in First District Court on Friday, May 20.
