Inaugural Garvies Point Kite Festival Comes To Glen Cove April 30

GLEN COVE, NY — Kites of all shapes and sizes will soon fill the air at the inaugural Garvies Point Kite Festival in Glen Cove.

The free event — which is sponsored by RXR Realty and the City of Glen Cove — is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a kite to Garvies Point Park, where they can dine, win prizes, and listen to music. There will also be a kite decorating workshop for kids.
