Lavine to Launch Campaign on Saturday

The incumbent assemblyman kicks off his campaign in Glen Cove with featured guests Congressman Steve Israel and State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli.

Assemblyman Charles Lavine will host a campaign kickoff with coffee and bagels and a slew of guests at the new Democratic headquarters at 102 School St. in Glen Cove, his office announced in a press release.

The event will run from 10-11:30 a.m.

Congressman Steve Israel and New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli will be featured guests, and are scheduled to be joined by former County Executive Tom Suozzi, former Nassau County Comptroller Howard Weitzman, Nassau County Legislators Judy Jacobs, Delia DeRiggi-Whitton, Wayne Wink, Robert Troiano and Judy Bosworth, Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Town Clerk Leslie Gross, Town Councilwoman Vivianna Russell and Plainview Water Commissioner Andy Bader.
