LI Man Arrested Three Times In Under 8 Hours: Police

A Glen Cove resident was arrested and released three separate times in a span of seven hours on Thursday, according to authorities.

GLEN COVE, NY — A Glen Cove resident was arrested by authorities three times in less than eight hours, officials announced Monday.

All three arrests occurred on March 3.

Brian Perez, 28, was first arrested by Glen Cove police around 5 a.m. and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to officials. After being released on no bail, police said Perez stole $44 worth of cigars from a business on School Street. Again, he was arrested by Glen Cove police, issued an appearance ticket, and released without bail.

Around 12:40 p.m., Perez was arrested at Neiman Marcus in East Garden City, where he reportedly stole $1,854 worth of merchandise.

Perez is scheduled to appear in court on March 22.
