North Shore Football Wins County Title: 'Great Talent, Fierce Drive'
The North Shore Vikings are county champions for the second year in a row after defeating West Hempstead. They play for the LI title Friday.
GLEN HEAD, NY — The North Shore High School football Vikings repeated as Nassau County champions, beating West Hempstead 20 to 6 on Friday. The boys will play Bayport-Blue Point Friday, Nov. 25 at noon at Hofstra University at the Long Island Championship.
North Shore High School Principal Eric Contreras said "with great talent, fierce drive and disciplined focus, our NS Football Vikings are once again Nassau County Champions."
"It was true team effort of our talented players and coaches, buoyed by our cheer team, pep band, pulse dance team and an energetic community."
