'Old Timer's Baseball Game' To Play Out In Glen Cove
The game is set for June 16 at John Maccarone City Stadium.
GLEN COVE, NY — City of Glen Cove officials will host a vintage baseball game at John Maccarone City Stadium on Shore Road on June 16.
The first pitch will be thrown out at 7 p.m.
The "Old Timers Baseball Game" will demonstrate how the game was played back in the 19th century using minimal equipment, lighter bats, and no gloves.
