Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Old Brookville: Police
Authorities are investigating a collision that killed a 58-year-old man in Old Brookville Saturday night.
GLEN COVE, NY — A 58-year-old man was killed after getting hit by a car Saturday in Old Brookville, authorities said.
Shortly before 7 p.m., Nassau County police were called to the area of Glen Cove and Glen Head roads for the report of a pedestrian-involved collision.
Following a preliminary investigation, detectives said a 36-year-old man was driving a 2014 Jeep southbound on Glen Cove Road when he struck the 58-year-old pedestrian, who was in the vicinity of Glen Head Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's identity is being withheld as the investigation into this collision continues, according to authorities.
