DeRiggi-Whitton Wins Re-Election In District 11 County Legislator Race
The incumbent DeRiggi-Whitton emerged victorious on Election Night.
NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The incumbent Delia M. DeRiggi-Whitton appeared to emerge victorious in the race for County Legislator of the Eleventh District.
She will now serve an eighth term in this role.
According to unofficial results by the Nassau County Board of Elections, Democratic candidate Delia M. DeRiggi-Whitton garnered 11,334 votes, or 62.58 percent, compared to 6,767 votes, or 37.36 percent, garnered by challenger and Republican candidate Colin J. Bell.

As of 11:30 p.m. on Election Night, Delia M. DeRiggi-Whitton took the lead with 9,449 votes.
Results are unofficial until certified by the Nassau County Board of Elections.
