Record-Breaking Crowd Turns Out for Glen Cove Street Fair
Downtown Glen Cove was alive with energy on Saturday as the City of Glen Cove's annual Street Fair.
Glen Cove, NY — September 15, 2025 — Downtown Glen Cove was alive with energy on Saturday as the City of Glen Cove’s annual Street Fair, presented with Nassau County Fairs, drew the largest crowd in its history. Thousands of residents and visitors filled the streets to enjoy almost 100 vendors, family-friendly activities, and a full day of live music.
The entertainment lineup featured local favorites The Jam Brothers (11:00 AM–2:00 PM) and Matt Pinto & Friends (2:00–5:00 PM), who kept the audience dancing and singing along. Families also enjoyed a bounce castle, pony rides, and a petting zoo. The Glen Cove Junior Soccer League added to the excitement, parading straight through the fair before returning with their families to join the festivities.
Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck said the turnout highlighted the teamwork behind the event: “The Street Fair was a tremendous success thanks to the hard work of the Special Events Committee, Nassau County Fairs, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. Events like this showcase the true spirit of Glen Cove.” She added thanks to City employees—from the Mayor’s Office to DPW, the Police Department, and Auxiliary Police—for ensuring the day ran smoothly and safely.

Vendors also shared their enthusiasm. Christopher Moll, Founder of North Shore Village Theatre, called the event “a huge success,” adding, “We met so many great people—thank you for letting us be part of it.” Local vendor Angelina Stanco-Stone, How Can I Help Elder Care, echoed the sentiment: “The Street Fair was a wonderful day of community spirit and fun, with lots of great vendors and food trucks bringing people together. I look forward to this event every year.”
For Roni Jenkins, Director of Special Events, the highlight was watching the community come together: “Seeing our streets filled with neighbors, families, and visitors supporting local vendors and cheering on hometown talent like The Jam Brothers and Matt Pinto & Friends was just incredible. This was our most vibrant fair yet, and it would not have been possible without the dedication of our all-volunteer Special Events Committee and the many partners who came together to make it happen.”
