Voter's Guide: North Shore 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election

What you need to know for election day.

Those who reside within the area of North Shore Schools will vote on the district's $104,868,519 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.

The proposal calls for a 2.698 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 1.891 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.

There are four candidates running for two seats on the North Shore Board of Education. They are:

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the High School Gymnasium.

A Meet the Candidates Night will take place on Wednesday, May 2 in the North Shore High School Library at 8 p.m.

Voter registration will take place in the Central Office, located at 112 Franklin Ave. in Sea Cliff on Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
