68-year-old Leaves Gowanus Apartment And Doesn't Come Back: Cops

The woman was last seen walking from her apartment at 2:47 a.m. Friday.

GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — Police are asking the public's help to find a 68-year-old woman that went missing in Gowanus over the weekend.

Marlene Casanova was last seen leaving her apartment building at 225 Hoyt Street at 2:45 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, police said. She lives in apartment 2C in the apartment building and was seen on surveillance video heading southbound on Hoyt Street.

Casanova left home without her walking cane and may be unsteady on her feet, police said.

She Hispanic woman who is 5’3”, 140 pounds with brown eyes and dark hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow or orange shirt, dark colored sweatpants, black shoes, a black coat and had a black pocketbook.
