Town Of Red Hook: Winter Parking Rules In Effect 11-15-2021

The Town of Red Hook Highway Department would like to remind residents of the town-wide Snow Ordinance in effect during the winter season. Town law prohibits parking on town roads from November 15th until April 1st between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Parking on the street at any time during a storm is an obstruction to snow removal and prevents employees from thoroughly removing snow.

Residents living along town roads should remove basketball hoops or any other roadside obstacles from the town-maintained right-of-way in preparation for the winter snow-plowing season. The Highway Department will not be responsible for damage to anything left in the right of way. Please do not plow, shovel or otherwise put snow into the streets.
