Recreation Programs
The following are brief descriptions of district recreation programs.

Board Games Bonanza for Grades K–2
Runs during March, from 4–5 p.m. Mondays at Parkville School Recreation Center;
Wednesdays at Saddle Rock School.
Friday Night Badminton Program for Grades 6–12
Runs second week in Nov.–April, from 7:30–9:15 p.m., at South Middle School Gym.
Supervised open badminton program.
Friday Night Program for Grades 3–5
Runs second week in Oct.–April, from 7:30–9:15 p.m., at Lakeville and Baker Schools. Sports-gym program, table games in the cafeteria.     Meets at each site twice a month.
Parkville Recreation Center for Grades 3–8
Runs second week in Oct.–second week in May, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 3–6 p.m., and Saturdays, from 1–4 p.m. Supervised gym program, arts and crafts,
bumper pool, billiards, ping-pong, nok hockey, theater program, and many monthly specials.

Special Education Recreation Program for Grades K–2
Runs third week in Oct.–end of April, from 3:20–5 p.m. Grades K–2, at Parkville
School Recreation Center, on Thursdays. A closely supervised program of sports,
games, and crafts.
Special Events—to be announced.
Summer Recreation Camp Programs
Run first week in July–first week in Aug. Six-week program. Exact starting and ending dates and program times will be announced. Grades K–5 meet at various elementary
schools. Grades 6–8 meet at South High School. Registration and tuition fees.
Super Saturday Program for Kindergarten–Grade 2
Runs second week in Jan.–third week in March, from 9:15–11:45 a.m., at Baker and Parkville Schools. Gym, music, and arts and crafts.
Super Saturday Recreational Swimming for Grades 3–5
Runs second week in Jan.–third week in March, from 9:30–11:30 a.m., at South Middle
School pool. Pool is supervised by certified lifeguards.
Thursday Night Basketball Program for Grades 9–12
Runs second week in Nov.–April, from 7:30–9:15 p.m., at the North Middle School Gym. Supervised open basketball program.
Thursday Night Ping Pong Recreation Program for Grades 6–8.
Runs January–March, from 7:30–9:15 p.m., at the North Middle School. Supervised open ping pong program.
