Breaking Ground on First Precinct, Pageant Comes to Nassau

The New York Senior America Organization is seeking women 60 or older to audition for the upcoming April 27, 2014 pageant to be held at Hofstra University. The first auditions will be held on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon. In recognition of Veterans Day, the Nassau County Rifle and Pistol Range will be offering free admission for veterans and active military on Monday, Nov. 11 during regular operating hours, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Proof of service is required. Refreshments will be served.
