Construction Worker Rescued After Fall Into Hole In Manhasset: FD

Nassau police and volunteer firefighters assisted the man, who was able to climb out before being brought to a local hospital.

MANHASSET, NY — On Friday afternoon, a construction worker fell into a hole on Trumbull Road in Manhasset, the Manhasst-Lakeville Fire Department confirmed. Nassau County police officers from the sixth precinct were the first on the scene, and firefighters arrived to assist, a representative from Manhasset's fire department told Patch.

It happened just before noon. The man was conscious and able to climb out of the hole with a ladder police officers placed. He was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries, according to the fire department.
